For those who don't know Red Skull was a Nazi officer who was personally trained by Adolf Hitler and after taking a similar super serum to that of Captain America developed super powers but became hideously disfigured in the process. The two characters have epic battles throughout the Captain America comic book series and Red Skull features in the new blockbuster film Captain America The First Avenger.
