Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to make his first big screen comeback since the embarrassing news about his private life hit the headlines.
The action hero is reportedly to star in The Last Stand, a modern-day Western directed by Kim Jee-Woon which tells the story of a sheriff defending his town against baddies.
"It's an old-fashioned Western specifically designed for a 63-year-old broken-down guy with a moral decision ... We always needed an iconic figure for it," a source from Lionsgate is said to have told Deadline.
Arnie hasn't had much time for making films lately, what with being governor of California between 2003 and 2011, although he did make a cameo appearance in The Expendables with Sylvester Stallone.
His wife of 25 years Maria Shriver recently filed for divorce after it emerged that he had fathered a child during an extensive affair with the family's maid.
Fans are sure to be hoping his comeback proves to be as good as his other box office smashes True Lies, Predator and of course, Terminator.
