Sightings of England fancy dress may have taken a nosedive since the national team crashed out of the World Cup last month, but people in the Bristol area can still embrace the fun of what's left of the tournament this weekend.

Canterbury School in Boscombe Crescent is to hold a school fair with a World Cup theme on Saturday (July 10th) in order to raise money for teaching equipment.

According to the Bristol Evening Post, the event promises to be fun for all the family, with football-themed activities going on all afternoon.

There will be human table football, a beat the goalie game and even tricks workshops with freestyle footy champion Andrew Henderson.

A competition will also be held to decide the best World Cup-themed children's fancy dress outfit.

Dutch costumes may be a popular choice after Holland reached the July 11th final last night, although plenty of people could also go along in England fancy dress if their national side beats Spain in tonight's match.
