Fans of Kim Cattrall will be able to get their hands on some historical fancy dress worn by the actress if they take part in an auction in Liverpool.

The Everyman and Playhouse venue in the city - where she recently appeared in Antony And Cleopatra to critical acclaim - is putting two gowns that formed part of her Cleopatra fancy dress up for sale next week.

One is a cream cotton frock with a gold neckline, while the other is black and white with a decorative belt, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Both will come with signed pictures of the Sex and the City performer.

Everyman and Playhouse artistic director Gemma Bodinetz said: "We hope the auction of these costumes will bring pleasure to any theatre or film aficionados and will help us continue to produce work of such scale and ambition."

The auction closes on December 19th 2010.

Last month, Star Wars fancy dress outfits used in The Empire Strikes Back were also put up for auction in Hollywood.
