What is SantaCon?
An event described by its organizers as “A charitable non-commercial, non-political, non-nonsensical Santa Claus convention that happens once a year for absolutely no reason”; the first SantaCon launched in San Francisco in 1994 and has since taken the globe by storm.
For one day only, hoards of Santa’s take to the streets, flocking the capital cities, for a pre-Christmas fancy dress party of epic proportions.
This year’s London event takes place on the 6th of December; the Santa’s will assemble at three top-secret locations around London (due to be revealed on Saturday 29th November here). The three herds will then set off on different routes, travelling throughout London, visiting famous landmarks and spreading the festive cheer! They’ll all meet at the final destination and form a massive sea of Santa’s!
The Santa get-up is imperative; so if you want to join in the fun, don't forget your Crimbo attire!
