Hawaiian-themed sexy fancy dress is sure to be out in force in a Liverpool Sainsbury's this week as staff take part in a charity fundraiser.

Employees at the branch in the city's Old Hall Street will dress up in grass skirts and other summery costumes on Friday (July 23rd 2010) to encourage customers to take part in fun activities such as raffles.

According to the Liverpool Daily Post, Summer Sensation will feature prizes from local businesses including Nando's, Zeligs and Gusto to raise as much cash as possible for care provider Claire House Hospice.

Sainsbury's events coordinator Geo Harris said: "With the support of Sainsbury's and the business community, I feel we can provide a lot for Claire House."

Mr Harris will also take part in a charity abseil for the same cause next month.

Summer is a good theme for a costume party, as there is plenty of choice when it comes to outfits.

While Hawaiian is sure to be a winner, parrot fancy dress could also go down a storm.
