A war hero who won the Victoria Cross has said he is not looking forward to the sexy fancy dress he might have to wear on Dancing on Ice.

Johnson Beharry - who got hurt saving the lives of some comrades during service - is getting his skates ready for the celebrity challenge show, which begins this Christmas.

He will be facing competition from Kerry Katona, Chloe Madeley and Dave Vitty among others, but is apprehensive about what outrageous outfits producers may put him in, the Mirror reports.

"I've told them there's no way I'm wearing anything pink and I'm not sure about anything too tight. I've got to go back to the army camp after all of this and I can imagine the jokes they're going to make," Johnson commented.

He will be facing a public vote to see who will stay in the competition on January 9th 2011 - it's a wonder those behind the show didn't ask him to come in wearing army fancy dress.

Meanwhile, Madeley told the Sun the contestants have been ordered to stay off the mince pies this festive season so they can do the lifts when they take to the ice.
