Halloween fancy dress could become a little less scary this year as people flock to buy costumes based on The Wizard of Oz.
This is according to Aaron Martin of Official Spin, who said the film has always been treasured as it stirs up emotion and a sense of adventure.
"Fancy dress Wizard of Oz ensembles can radiate such wonderful feeling - after all, Halloween season is a perfect time to let one's imagination fly," he commented.
Aaron encouraged anyone considering what to wear for their Halloween party this year to gang up with friends and wear Scarecrow fancy dress or other outfits based on The Wizard of Oz in order to have a fun time.
Andrew Lloyd Webber's forthcoming musical at the London Palladium could encourage people to revisit The Wizard of Oz, although the theatre mogul has said the show will be a completely different telling of the story than the 1939 film.
