Fans of the Ben Stiller film Dodgeball may wish to don their best sexy fancy dress and head down to London's Docklands area this weekend.
Jeremy Cheung, founder of the National Dodgeball Association, is hosting a dodgeball competition at the Play on Sports Centre in the Isle of Dogs on Saturday (August 7th 2010).
There are currently 18 teams registered and they are all required to wear costumes in order to make the event really lively and raise plenty of cash for the Red Cross.
Mr Cheung told Docklands 24 he came up with the idea for the games - first launched in 2007 - after watching Dodgeball.
"We thought it would be a good laugh to do this after watching the movie, to get everyone in fancy dress and do our bit for charity," he added.
The organiser said all kinds of outfits will be welcome and suggested Kill Bill fancy dress as a good example.
