Former singer Lily Allen has revealed she once had an ambition to open a fun fancy dress shop.
The Smile pop star, who is now pregnant with her first child, told the Telegraph she loves dressing up and had considered setting up a base in London from which to allow other people to buy and borrow costumes too.
However, she said she had a change of heart after discovering a love for vintage clothing and decided to open a boutique in Covent Garden with her half-sister Sarah Owens instead.
"One of my 'light bulb' moments came when I went to a Christmas party and five people had the same high street dress on as I had," Allen explained.
The pair have brought in trunks of old clothes from the US in order to stock Lucy in Disguise and Allen hopes it will encourage people to experiment with their style
Last month, Jaime Winstone also revealed she is a fan of fun fancy dress, telling the Daily Star she has a room dedicated to it in her shared house.
