Attendees of an IT conference in London last week were treated to a sexy fancy dress event in order to raise money and celebrate a special milestone.
According to Computer Weekly, November 2010 marks ten years of the datacentre industry and staff were encouraged to embrace a Carry On theme for the party after the corresponding conference.
Jenny Williams from Computer Weekly said the 18-rated drinks reception and casino night - which raised money for Help for Heroes - certainly livened up proceedings.
"One minute there were discussions of datacentre power usage effectiveness ratings, the next the main exhibition hall was a pit of casino tables, the IT industry's version of motor racing's 'brolly dollies' and booze," she reflected.
Nurse fancy dress and police costumes, presumably taken from Carry on Nurse and Carry On Constable respectively, were among the outfits spotted at the event.
The Datacentre Dynamics conference took place at the Lancaster London Hotel on November 9th and 10th 2010.
