A Sky Sports blogger has promised to wear any fun fancy dress costume his followers choose if his favourite football team avoids relegation this season.
Dagenham & Redbridge are currently languishing in the relegation zone of League One after a 4-0 thrashing by Southampton earlier this week.
However, Anthony Hodgson from the Sky Sports website said he is sure the team can battle their way out if they continue to receive support from fans instead of them staying away.
"I'll do you all a deal, if we stay up this year I will wear the fancy dress outfit of your choice at the last home game of the season," he wrote.
Perhaps fans of the Daggers could try dressing up to all their home games in a bid to boost team morale during the winter.
The Sunday Sun recently reported that a group of Dundee United players were impressed with sheep fancy dress after bumping in to a gang of revellers masquerading as the animals, so maybe this could be a good choice to give the ailing Daggers a kick up the rear end.
