    Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I scooped a prize last night (May 11th 2011) at the National Movie Awards.

    The film adaptation of the first part of the final novel won best fantasy at the ceremony, which was held at the O2 Arena in London.

    The second part, which is out soon, was also named as the must-see movie of the summer, suggesting that the popularity of the franchise is showing no signs of waning.

    Harry Potter's Lord Voldemort and the White Witch from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe are two of the characters set to be immortalised in a new set of commemorative stamps from the Royal Mail.

    In its new Magical Realms collection, the organisation pays tribute to some of the most memorable fantasy characters from film and literature, with JK Rowling's Lord Voldemort and Professor Dumbledore taking up two of the designs.

  • Harry Potter fans were out en masse in their film fancy dress costumes last night (November 11th 2010) in order to see stars at the premiere of The Deathly Hallows Part 1.

    Thousands of Muggles from all over the world gathered at Leicester Square to see Danielle Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson walk the red carpet as the film franchise begins to draw to a close.
