The Zombie Brain Punch is a drink that looks utterly disgusting and is always a sure fire Halloween favourite. The lumpy Zombie mix can be made with or without vodka, but if you want to add that little something special try mixing in a bottle of flavoured vodka into the mix. We recommend orange, berry or lemon vodka. The Zombie Brain Punch is literally sweet enough to turn you into a Zombie when the sugar rush subsides so make sure that you consume it sparingly.
Ingredients:
1 can of concentrate Lemonade (or alternatively one 2lt bottle of lemonade)
1 2lt bottle of lemon-lime soda
½ gallon of rainbow sherbert ice cream (or alternatively ½ gallon of rich vanilla ice cream)
Preparation:
- Scoop ½ gallon of ice cream into a bowl and leave to thaw between 15-20 minutes
- When thawed stir ice cream or sherbert around in a bowl until it looks brown / grey and place back into the freezer to re-freeze.
- Mix vodka, lemonade and lemon-lime soda into a punch bowl.
- Remove ice cream from freezer and scoop small brown spoonfuls into mixed drink. They ice cream will float on top of the beverage giving it the textured ghoulish look of Zombie brains.
