What’s the one thing that you don’t see much of on Halloween? Vegetables, in fact, they are about as common as trick-or-treaters in the Vatican. However, with this fantastic veggie skeleton not only will you see vegetables this Halloween but you will even see them disappear. The veggie Skeleton is easy to put together and even looks good enough to get the little ones to put down their sweets for a few minutes and devour a few of their five a day.

Difficulty: Easy

Time: 15 – 20 minutes

What You Need? Lettuce Leaves, sliced olives, veggie dip or humus, small bowl, celery, baby carrots, bell pepper, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers.

Directions:

Head:

Fill a bowl with humus or veggie dip. Add lettuce leaves to create the impression of hair. Place sliced olives in bowl to create eyes.

Body:

Arrange veggies on platter to create the shape of a skeleton (if you need any tips use the picture provided) otherwise have some fun and make it your own.

Take a picture:

Take a picture of your masterpiece because as soon as you put it your veggie skeleton up for grabs there will be broken bones everywhere.
