    It's a sad day for crimefighting when Batman gets arrested. However, that's (almost) exactly what happened this week when the Caped Crusader - or rather someone emulating him - was pulled from the side of an office building and hauled down to the police station.

    Officers in Petoskey, Michigan were alerted to a figure on the roof of the 30ft office block at 01:00 local time and went to investigate.

    A man who sees himself as a modern-day Batman is appealing for help from a would-be Robin after the dampeners were put on his superhero career.
