    A group of men aiming to do the Three Peaks Challenge for charity have been left red-faced after climbing the wrong mountain.

    Damien Davis, Kevin Giles, Mike Murray, Dave Murray, James Bowyer and brother Carl Wright formed Team Wayne in honour of their pal Wayne Wilson, who died from leukaemia earlier this year.

    They set off on their hiking trip intending to scale Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and then Snowdon, but they somehow managed to end up on Stob Ban, three miles away from Ben
