    Despite regular claims about violent video games causing players to become more aggressive, it appears football titles may be more provocative.

    A study by Dr Simon Goodson and Sarah Pearson of Huddersfield University looked at the brain and heart activity of people playing sports games as opposed to shoot-em-up games.

    It was found that letting a goal in actually produced more emotion than shooting an enemy because it is closer to real life.

    Fearsquare has been written by researchers at the University of Lincoln and works in conjunction with the popular Foursquare service.

    When users check in to various locations such as hotels or cinemas by visiting them, the new app compares the data with crime figures from local police databanks.

    A group of Russian students paid tribute to Yuri Gagarin this week by launching a rocket from their university campus.

    April 12th 2011 marked 50 years since the cosmonaut became the first man ever to travel into space and orbit the earth.

    To celebrate, the Siberian State Aerospace University students made a rocket and then set it off into the air. For some reason, the craft was shaped like a guitar, but it certainly made for an interesting spectacle as it zoomed across the
