Bestival enthusiasts are likely to be getting their medieval fun fancy dress outfits together after it was revealed that this is the theme for this year's Camp Bestival gig. Residents in Dorset could find themselves surrounded by a whole host of kings and queens on the last weekend of July this year, as music fans pull on their best costumes to watch the likes of Eliza Doolittle, Katy B and House of Pain perform live on stage. It will be a challenge for attendees to keep their Maid Marion and Knight outfits on as they hop between the 14 stages at the three-day festival but it is likely to be a lot of fun seeing people have a go at it. Last year saw thousands of people turning up at the festival in fantasy fancy dress and this year's theme is expected to be just as popular. Those who plan on getting out their medieval kit could join in the show's Fancy Dress Parade or take part in the festival's Fancy Dress Competitions, where monks, Robin Hoods and executioners can show off their impressive outfits.
