A Slash fancy dress costume created a humorous scene at a ceremony to be featured on Living TV's reality show Four Weddings.For one upcoming episode of the programme, in which couples compete to see which of them can plan the best nuptials, office manager Steven Craig dressed as the legendary guitarist for a rival's wedding, the Daily Record reports.
However, he had mistakenly prepared for a rock music theme and arrived to find all the other guests sporting traditional wedding attire, without another wig or costume in sight.
Mr Craig explained: "When I got there, I was pretty shocked. It wasn't a prank, it was just a genuine mix-up and we all had a right laugh about it.
"I decided to just go with it and ended up having a great time."
The contestant's civil partner Paul Dickson can perhaps be grateful he did not also attend the wedding, as the presence of an Alice Cooper mask or another rock-themed costume could have caused further embarrassment.
Recent celebrity versions of Four Weddings have featured former Steps singer Faye Tozer, glamour model Michelle Marsh and Big Brother's Pete Bennett.
