Kelly Brook has paid homage to Star Wars by donning Princess Leia fancy dress for a photoshoot.

The glamour model was posing for Total Film magazine ahead of her appearance in new flick Piranha 3D, which she has described as a B-movie full of "boobs, blood, gore and drama".

She sported a brown bikini with a metal trim as a tribute to the scene in Return of the Jedi in which Princess Leia is being held captive by Jabba the Hutt.

Brook even had her hair in the same glamorous updo as the rebel royal, creating a really authentic feel for the pictures.

Meanwhile, a teacher from Kent may be stocking up on Star Wars fancy dress after naming his two children after characters from the films.

Peter Hygate, 37, called his tots Emily Rose Princess Leia and Bethany Violet Skywalker after being obsessed with the sci-fi series since he was a ten-year-old.
