  • Plymouth to welcome Wizard of Oz fancy dress

    A fun fancy dress event is set to take place in Plymouth this weekend in order to celebrate the screening of a famous film.

    The City Centre Piazza will be showing the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz on Sunday (June 27th) and council officials hope as many people as possible will turn up in children's fancy dress or adult costumes.

    As an added incentive, there will be a prize for the best dressed, with judging set to take place before the film starts at 13:00 BST.

  • Over the Rainbow star stays hopeful - but leaves Dorothy costume behind

    Emilie Fleming may be best known for sporting what looked like a Dorothy fancy dress costume on BBC One's Over the Rainbow, but we could be seeing her in other roles soon.

    The teenager had hoped to take a starring role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's West End musical of The Wizard of Oz, but lost out at the weekend.
