    A car made entirely from Play-Doh arrived in a London street this week, much to the surprise of passersby.

    However, the 1.5-tonne model wasn't the work of a juvenile giant, but rather a publicity stunt by motor manufacturer Chevrolet.

    The brand carried out a poll recently to discover Britain's favourite child's toy and found that colourful modelling putty Play-Doh came top, followed by Lego and, quite strangely, Kinder Eggs.

  • School teachers and children have been encouraged to wear fun fancy dress later this month in order to raise as much money as possible for Red Nose Day.

    According to Shropshire Live, kids across the country raised a record-breaking £7.8 million in 2009, but Comic Relief organisers want them to do even better this year to help some of the world's poorest people live a better life.

    The theme is 'do something funny for money', so all kinds of activities could be on the agenda on March 18th, including quiz days, talent shows and perhaps even a sponsored throw-a-wet-sponge-at-a-teacher event!

  • He may not have got the chance to dress up as Cher, but James Franco still sported fun fancy dress at this year's Oscars.

    The Spiderman actor co-presented the ceremony with Anne Hathaway on Sunday (February 27th 2011) and disappeared off the stage at one point, leaving her to sing a solo song in her tuxedo.

    However, when he returned, he was dressed in drag, seemingly in homage to Hollywood great Marilyn Monroe.
