  • Revellers at Bestival celebrated the event's biggest ever crowd with a huge number of eclectic and fun fancy dress outfits over the weekend.

    The Isle of Wight festival's fancy dress parade on Saturday night (September 11th) was described as "now legendary" by the Daily Telegraph, as thousands of unicorns and fairies were spotted all over the site.

  • Princess Eugenie has been having great fun on holiday in Spain, with pictures showing her trying on fun fancy dress and laughing with a mate.

    The 20-year-old - who is to return to her studies at Newcastle Uni soon - has been off on her jollies with Tilly Standing, her good pal and daughter of thespian Sir John Standing.

    On a day out, they spotted a costume shop and promptly went in to try on fake bottoms, happily posing for pictures with the humourous accessories.

  • A sports reporter has said he is pleased to be involved with a new season of rugby, in part because of the fans in fun fancy dress.

    Austin Healey of ESPN Rugby told Scrum.com he had great fun pitchside last weekend, particularly with supporters embracing the party atmosphere in their costumes.

    "That's what rugby is. It's people who are good-natured having a good laugh," he commented.
