    She may have worn a sexy fancy dress costume for her appearance in the Miss Universe contest this week, but that didn't stop Miss USA from being eliminated before the finals.

    Rima Fakih - who would have been the first Muslim to win had she progressed to the end - was voted out in favour of Miss Jamaica, Miss France, Miss Ukraine and Miss Philippines.

    Speaking before the competition, Miss USA said her outfit was inspired by president Barack Obama.

  • House of Commons gets saucy for sexy fancy dress party

    Think of the House of Commons and you would probably conjure up a pretty strait-laced venue as opposed to one that welcomes sexy fancy dress.

    However, that's exactly what it's going to do for one night only on October 2nd 2010, when it will play host to an Erotica 2010 party in the Members' Dining Room.

  • Rihanna admires children's fancy dress in Toronto

    Rihanna took time out in Toronto this week to meet some of her young fans, some of whom were in children's fancy dress.

    The Disturbia singer was in the Canadian city yesterday (August 5th 2010) as part of her Last Girl on Earth tour and seemed pleased to pose for pictures with the youngsters.

    One was wearing a jolly clown fancy dress costume, while another dressed as a princess to meet her idol, the Daily Mail reports.
