A group of school pupils from Worksop enjoyed a children's fancy dress day recently to show off their knowledge of Doctor Who.
The youngsters headed to the local library to attend a special family fun day in which they took part in games, readings and play sessions, the Worksop Guardian reports.
Matt Smith look-a-like Tom Connor dressed up as the Time Lord to entertain the crowd and there was even a Tardis to play in.
A little boy wearing Cyberman fancy dress won the day's costume competition.
Library programmes manager Michelle Dunstan said: "We got a good turnout, 300 more people than usual and it was great to see the children's faces when the Dalek turned up."
The participants are sure to be looking forward to the annual Doctor Who Christmas special this festive season.
It guest stars Katherine Jenkins, but she told the Daily Record she nearly turned the role down because she was nervous.
