Petite people who don't want too much space and live on their own could be intrigued by a house that has gone up for sale in Suffolk.

The one-bedroom property in Framlingham is Victorian and was once part of a steam mill - but its unique selling point is that it's only two metres wide.

We were intrigued to find out that it also has an upside-down design, but this turned out to simply mean that its kitchen and sitting room are upstairs while the bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor.

This is perhaps just as well, otherwise it would have looked like something out of a fairy story.

However, the property doesn't have a miniature price tag to match its diminutive size, as it is on sale for £95,000.

Estate agent Julie Williams said: "It's really for only one person. I wouldn't like to share it."

Back in 2008, a nine-and-a-half feet wide townhouse in New York went on the market for $2.75 million (£1.7 million), although it did have three storeys.
