  • Dancing on Ice: Any sexy fancy dress as long as it's not green

    The contestants of TV's Dancing on Ice have warned the wardrobe department that they will wear any sexy fancy dress that is given to them - as long as it's not green.

    After Jennifer Metcalfe ended up in the dance-off last week in a mint hue and Gary Lucy did the same last series, the superstitious skaters have decided the colour to be bad luck and have sworn off it completely.

    "Nobody wants green outfits as they're deemed to be a jinx," a source told the Sun.

  • Alex Reid: Sexy fancy dress is no fun for me now

    Katie Price has killed off the sexy fancy dress alter ego of estranged husband Alex Reid, he has said.

    The cage fighter used to enjoy wearing drag to become Roxanne, but his friends told the Sun Price "murdered" her when she forced Reid to expose her in public.

    The former glamour model is alleged to have told Reid to dress up as Roxanne for a book launch in 2009 and this caused him so much emotional trauma that he has vowed never to don the outfit again.

  • Sexy fancy dress proves ineffective for bank robber

    Perhaps he thought his sexy fancy dress was a little more convincing than it actually was, but dressing up as a woman didn't help one bank robber in the US recently.

    Ronald Earl, 49, entered a bank in Oakland on March 18th 2010 and gave a note to a cashier demanding all the money from the desk, the Daily Tribune reports.

    In order to help foil the workers, he donned a red wig, scarf and women's glasses and then made off with his loot.
