The Beckhams name newborn daughter Harper Seven

There has been much speculation over the choice of name for the tot, with sources claiming that she could be named Lunar. However, the moniker was finally announced to the world by David after the baby was born on Sunday (July 10th 2011) weighing 7lbs 10oz. "I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham ... Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx," David wrote on his Facebook page. The rumour mill is now working to find out what prompted the celebrity couple to choose Harper Seven, although a source close to Victoria simply said Harper was something she "has always liked". Although seven is a lucky number and the baby was born in the seventh month, there have also been suggestions that her middle name is an homage to David's shirt number for Manchester United and England.
