Thanks to the Transformers cartoons back in the '80s and the recent films, many little boys have probably dreamt of owning a vehicle that can turn into a really cool robot.

However, 25-year-old Californian Drew Beaumier has taken that dream one step further by turning himself into one.

The inventor has created a suit that features wheels and moving parts which mean he can fold himself into car form and roll along roads and footpaths.

"Chicks definitely find it sexy," Drew commented.

He explained that he came up with the idea while he was working in "rubbish" jobs and realised he could entertain tourists with a robotic transformation.

The third Transformers film comes out this summer and is called Dark of the Moon. Shia LaBoeuf will reprise his role, but Megan Fox will not be back.

Instead, the love interest will be provided by British model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
