  • Fun fancy dress the theme for Man City's festive party

    It may have been a Christmas party, but the players at Manchester City opted to wear fun fancy dress for their team bash over the weekend.

    The players turned up on Saturday (December 4th 2010) looking bright and cheerful in polka-dot outfits to go clubbing in Hale, Cheshire.

    We're not entirely sure what the theme was, but the costumes did look a little bit like clown fancy dress, although the Mirror speculated they could all have been children's TV

  • Protesters sport fun fancy dress to raise awareness of Aids

    Fun fancy dress has been helping protesters get a serious message across in New York this week.

    A gang of people dressed as bagels turned out in Brooklyn to criticise cuts in funding for Aids sufferers in the New York area.

    Mayor Bloomberg was going to meet city officials to discuss the issue on December 1st - World Aids Day - as part of the annual Bagel Breakfast, but residents said he never meets his promises to deliver help to the 45,000 New Yorkers with the disease.

  • Dom Joly plays trick in fun fancy dress

    Dom Joly played a trick on Gillian McKeith by sporting fun fancy dress for a practical joke.

    The former Trigger Happy TV star crept up on his fellow I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here contestant, who did little but moan and scream since she got to the jungle.

    However, the prank was made even better by the fact that he was wearing cockroach fancy dress, Unreality TV reports.

    As expected, Gillian squealed before bursting into slightly hysterical laughter.
