Fans of the Toy Story movies may not want to put away their Buzz Lightyear fancy dress just yet, as there could be another sequel on the cards.
Journalists collared Tom Hanks as he was on the promotional trail for his new movie Larry Crowne and asked him if there is a chance for a follow-up to last year's Toy Story 3.
Although he was cagey at first, the Hollywood star then appeared to throw caution to the wind and say what he really thought.
"Whatever is going on at Pixar headquarters is a mystery to me. I'll wait until they blow white smoke out of the chimney or whatever it is that says there's another Toy Story coming down the pipe," he told Magic 105.4.
"I think there will be yeah. Yeah, yeah. I think they're working on it now. There you go."
Hanks also told Showbiz Tonight that he believes there will be a Toy Story 4, although he joked that they have so much of his voice on tape they may not actually need him in order to create a new story with his character Woody in it.
Toy Story fans who cannot wait for a decision do not have long before they see the adventurous playthings back in action again, as the cinema release of Cars 2 features a short film during its credits called Toy Story Toons: Hawaiian Vacation.
Meanwhile, a teaser trailer has also been released for the next Pixar movie, Brave, which will come out next year.
It shows a red-haired princess called Merida who has to battle a mysterious beast and features the voices of Billy Connolly and Emma Thompson.
A sequel to Monsters Inc entitled Monsters University is set to come out in 2012, so there should be plenty to keep fans of animation happy.
