    They both have successful careers, so Katy Perry and Russell Brand are apart a lot - but the funnyman keeps her entertained by wearing sexy fancy dress for their Skype calls.

    According to the Sun, Russ has been donning Katy's wigs to chat to her and make her laugh while she's across the pond.

    He also reportedly dressed up as Doctor Who for the benefit of his quirky fiancee.

    "Katy really likes Matt Smith as the Doctor so he tried to impress her with his effort," a source explained.

  • Russell Brand dons Batman fancy dress for new movie

    Russell Brand has been spotted wearing superhero fancy dress in New York for his forthcoming film Arthur.

    The funnyman was photographed in a Batman costume for the remake of the 1980s classic, which tells the story of a drunkard who is forced to marry in order to inherit his fortune.

    It also stars Helen Mirren, Jennifer Garner and Luis Guzman, but all eyes were on Brand this week as he leapt about in the costume, which featured some serious abs - and a utility belt filled with hip flasks instead of useful crime-fighting items!

  • Batman costume from Batman and Robin 'wasn't the greatest reimagining'

    The Batman fancy dress costume from 1997's Batman and Robin left a little to be desired when it was compared to the original Batsuit.

    This is the opinion of Mike Gorman, writing for fansite 411Mania.com, who said that his main problem with the outfit was the fact that it had nipples.
